31st Annual Eau Claire Hmong New Year Celebration at the Eau Claire Indoor Sport Center on November 9-10th, 2019
The Eau Claire Hmong New Year will be held on Nov. 9th-10th, 2019 at the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center located at 3456 Craig Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701. The Hmong New Year Celebration is open from 8am-5pm on both Saturday and Sunday with night entertainment scheduled for Saturday November 9th from 7pm-12pm.
The general public is invited to join us in celebrating the end of the harvest year and the beginning of a new year. General admission is $4.00 and free children under 5 years old and seniors over 65.
Talent Competition: Register today to enter either the dancing or singing competition! Registration fee will apply to the dancing, singing and kwv txhiaj competitions. This year's prizes are as follows:
Dance: 1st- $1200 | 2nd- $600 | 3rd- $400
Singing: 1st- $500 | 2nd- $250 | 3rd- $100
Ball toss- $50 per couple.
To register for either the dancing or singing competition, please fill out the online Performance Registration Form by October 31, 2019. Competitors may only register once for either the dancing or singing competition. Competition for the ball toss will be taken at the event- LISTEN for announcements!
