Hiring Executive Director at Eau Claire HMAA
The Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association (ECAHMAA) is a nonprofit, community-based organization looking for a full time Executive Director (ED) responsible for planning and leadership. The ED must be able to build partnerships with federal, state and local funding sources. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively in both Hmong and English and have a deep knowledge of the Hmong-American Community. The candidate must live in, or relocate to the Eau Claire Area. An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience will be considered an asset. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check. Employment and Training

The ECAHMAA Employment and Training Program removes barriers to employment and empowers Hmong families to better their economic future. The bilingual Employment and Training Coordinator works directly with Hmong clients to help them identify their needs, create economic self-sufficiency plans, and access appropriate services.

In addition, the Employment and Training Coordinator assists area employers in ensuring job retention of their Hmong employees by providing Hmong cultural presentations to their non-Hmong workforce.

Senior Employment

The Title V program provides individuals who are at least 55 years of age an opportunity to gain work experience. THe ECAHMAA uses this program for its reception and custodial positions.
