The ECAHMAA, in partnership with UW-Eau Claire, provides mentoring and tutoring services to Hmong youth during the school year. The program also offers opportunities for students to participate in after-school activities that will increase their academic learning and their knowledge of mainstream culture. All youth are encouraged to participant regardless of their race or citizen status. Participants meet every Wednesday night at the ECAHMAA building for homework/tutoring help and a scheduled activity. The Boy Scots and Girl Scots of American leadership curriculum are incorporated into the activity time twice a month.
The Building Bridges for Hmong Youth includes an annually end-of-the year weekend camping trip where leadership and educational workshops are infused along with recreational activities.
