Employment and Training

PLEASE NOTE that as of December 31st, 2011, we will no longer offer the Refugee Road to Work program. As we no longer have eligible refugees in our area, we are no longer qualify for funding from the Office of Refugee Resettlement in the Department of Children and Families. Intensive employment case management such as application at employers’ location, assistance at interviews and on-th-job training will no longer be provided.

Other employment services such as employment referral, filling out job applications, phone calls to employer, assistance with resume writing and interviewing skills will still be provide onsite.

In addition, we will still assist area employers in ensuring job retention of their Hmong employees by providing Hmong culture presentations to their non-Hmong workforce. Please contact us for fees associated with Hmong Culture Competency presentations.
