Cultural Performance (non-competitive)

Requirements:

• Please prepare to perform as least once

• Performances are limited to 5 minutes each

• Completed registration must be done with Lis Pov Haam by Friday, November 2nd, 2019 via phone call or email

• Music must be on a USB/Flash Drive in an envelope with music file/name clearly noted on envelope. (NOT on a CD, smart phone, or YouTube Link) Music must be turn in at time of check-in and be picked up right after performance. We are not responsible for forgotten USB/Flash Drive.

 

Rules and Guidelines:

• Cultural Performance performer/s will have free admission to the event the day of his/hers/their performance

• All Cultural Performance performer/s are required to check in 1 hour at the MC’s table before their scheduled performance/s. The order of performance/s will be sent to performer/s before the event. 

• Costumes, choreography, and song choice must be suitable for family viewing

Talent Competition (competitive)

Requirements:

• Please prepare three (3) performances for dancing or singing (3rd prices will be needed if won)​

• Performances are limited to 5 minutes each

• Complete registration must be submitted to the Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association, Inc by Friday, November 1st, 2019 via online registration

• Music must be on a USB/Flash Drive in an envelope with music file/name clearly noted on envelope. (NOT on a CD, smart phone, or YouTube Link) Music must be turn in at time of check-in and be picked up right after performance. We are not responsible for forgotten USB/Flash Drive.

 

Rules and Guidelines:

The Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association, Inc reserve the rights to cancel any of the competition categories if the required minimum registrations are not met.

• Dancing Competition:

  • Registration fee = $30.00 (at time of check-in at the event)

  • Limited to the first registered 10 competitors

  • Minimum of five (5) registered competitors for competition to take place

• Singing Competition:

  • Registration fee = $20.00 (at time of check-in at the event)

  • Limited to the first registered 15 competitors

  • Minimum of five (5) registered competitors for competition to take place

• All contestant/s are required to check in by 11:30am at the MC’s table, be prepared and be on time for the competition or otherwise withdrawal of contestant will be made. Contestant/s must compete on assigned day and time

• Costumes, choreography, and song choice must be suitable for family viewing

• Competitors of each competition determined by first day’s performance score will added to second day talent competition to determine top 3 placements

Contestants in the dance competition take certain inherent risk including but not limited to sprains, bruises, pulled and sore muscles, and broken bones. Contestants agree not to hold Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association, Inc., its officers, volunteers or staff responsible for injuries, illness, or damages sustained while participating in any activity related to this Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association's event.
