In 2017, our team started the Graduation Cap n' Gown Recycling Program to collect area high school and college caps and gowns. Graduating students who may not be able to afford their own cap and gown for graduation may reach out to our agency for help.  

 

Hearing stories from friends, families, and alumni from the area high schools and colleges of not attending graduation because they could not afford the cost of purchasing the required attire for gradation was heartbreaking.  

 

Graduation is a life milestone that should be celebrated. Students who want to participate in their graduation ceremony should be able to do so without having the additional barrier of purchasing a cap and gown. This program celebrates area graduates’ success in education by giving students a cap and gown.

 

Please stop by the agency if you would like a cap and gown for your graduation.
